Amidst all the many controversies surrounding the Omo Baba Olowo crooner, Davido, the music star has just won big at the 2017 Africa Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival (AFRIMMA).
The award ceremony which was held on Sunday, October 8, at the House of Blues, Dallas, Texas, was attended by top Nigerian music stars such as Tiwa Savage, Falz The Bahd Guyz, Victoria Kimani among others.
It was reported that the host of the event were Nigerian comedian Basketmouth and Chipukeezy. Other artist that performed at the award ceremony includes famous dancer Kaffy, Scientific from Liberia, Tzy Panshak from Cameroon and much more.

The highlight of the night was when Nigerian music star Davido won the Artist of the Year award while his hit song ‘IF’ won the Song of the Year award.
