Popular Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, has made a fan who recently lost his mother happy. The singer shared a tweet paying tribute to the fan's late mother after she passed.

The fan identified as @OchukoMarv had taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to call on the singer after his mother died. The man shared a tweet with a video slide of photos of himself and his mother.

In the tweet, the man revealed that his mother passed away on Wednesday, December 4, and asked Wizkid to pay his mother respect. He said his mother was a fan of Wizkid.

@OchukoMarv noted that he knows asking Wizkid to come for her burial is impossible but he hopes he would send a tweet which he could print out to send her off is possible.

Wizkid replied to the tweet, wishing the deceased a peaceful rest. He also prayed for the family and asked that God give them the strength to go on during the sad time. The singer further asked that the young man send him a direct message on the platform.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that the popular Nigerian artist had recently trended on social media after he curtly replied to a fan who called him short. The singer had told the fan that he is richer than the fan's mother after the fan said he has not grown taller since he became famous.
