Ric Flair, WWE legend was rushed to hospital after suffering a medical emergency on the morning of Thursday, May 16., according to his wife Wendy Barlow in a statement to the media.
Flair, popularly known as The Nature Boy, was in the Atlanta area when he suddenly fell ill and was immediately taken to the Emergency Room (ER) for treatment.
According to TMZ Sports, there was much uncertainty clouding the WWE legend's condition, with the situation being described as "very serious".
Following the scare that left wrestling fans worried, Flair's wife, Wendy Barlow, issued a statement saying she expected her husband to make a full recovery.

"Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover," she said.Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Flair married Barlow in September 2018.
The 70-year-old, considered one of WWE's greatest, posted a couple of glamorous pictures of the all-white themed wedding held at the rooftop of the Pearl Hotel in Rosemary beach, Florida.
Speaking to People (US), Flair said he had just married the love of his life.
"Dreams do come true. I married the love of my life yesterday," the overly jolly groom said.
